On a chilly autumn morning, Chi and her family gather to hold the funeral of her older sister, who has passed away after more than fifteen years of battling breast cancer. Throughout the funeral, memories of the past continually draw Chi back to her sister. Every object and every familiar scene evokes her sister’s image and voice. As she revisits the intimate conversations they once shared, Chi begins to see both her sister’s life and her own from a new perspective, reflecting on family, purpose, and what it means to live. Somewhere along the fragile boundary between life and death, the two sisters seem to find a quiet connection once again.
